We visited this famous pork brizoles (pork chops) place in summer 2009. There are a couple of pork chops shops next to Telis, but so far as I know this one is the most famous.
On sitting down, we requested a menu, but the waitress told us that they served only pork chops and salad and she ordered these for us. When she left, I snatched the menu lying on a table next to us and took a peek. They serve brizoles and fileto as mains, and as sides 'special sauce' for meat, a few salads (for some strange reason, horiatiki isn't on the menu), tzatziki and feta. Not much else.

Bread (obligatory order) and horiatiki salad arrived first.
Salad was fine and nothing special to comment.

Here is Telis's special brizoles, heaps of meat!
Chops were cut thin so that they cook quickly. Charred meat with lots of origano and salt could not go wrong. They tasted good in a junk food way. Soft fries were also very junk-ish.
But the cost of 8 euros a plate is not exactly a junk-food price.
This is not a kind of food I want to eat often, but maybe once a year or so I might enjoy.
