<Location> Athenian Agora, Athens, Attica, Greece

The Church of Holy Apostoles, standing on the south-western hill of the Agora, was constructed in the beginning of the eleventh century. Between 1954 and 1956, all the later additions were removed and the church was restored to its original outlook.

The base of the church was a part of the Roman fountain house (nymphaion).
