<Location> Agora, Athens, Greece

This statue, now situated at the foot of the Kolonos Hill, is probably a torso of Hadrian and originally stood in front of the Stoa of Zeus.

On the cuirass, Athena is standing above the she-wolf feeding Romus and Remus; this iconography means at the same time that Rome is supporting Greece, and the Greek culture is dominating Rome. The female figures at the both side of Athena are the goddesses of victory. There are also a owl and a snake in between.
