Pastourmas

(Spicy beef ham)

Pastourma
Dry cured meat - usually beef/veal in Greece - with spice paste coating. Greek equivalent of Turkish Pastirma. It shares the origin with pastrami, but hardly used for sandwich.

As it has a strong and particular smell and quite salty, it is not everyone's liking.

Pastourmas
The red 'skin' of the meat is spice coating. It is hot because of red chili.
