Dormades Yialantzi

Dormades
Dormades Yialantzi (or Dormadakia) are herb rice wrapped in vine leaves and boiled until soft.

It is best to be eaten in April or May, when the fresh young vine leaves are available. In other seasons, conserved or frozen leaves are used. The preserved leaves do not have subtle fragrant/flavour of fresh ones.
