These are the restaurants I visited and things I ate during the visit in June 2007.
Firstly, the restaurant I went with friends of mine, Turiddo (it is on the left side of the street in the photo).

This restaurant was already there, when I first visited Pisa in 1996, so it has been at least for 10 years. As it has offered decent food for acceptable price, I have been here many times.
I have recommended it to several people who needed a convenient place to eat, and I have never had any complaint. It might not be a brilliant, but a quite decent and convenient place to eat.

This is Smoked salmon and caviar pizza. This caviar should not be real one, considering the price, but they were fish eggs of some kind.
Putting smoked salmon on the hot pizza gets the fish cooked, and it which is not ideal. I always have had an impression that the Italians do not understand the smoked salmon and I thought the same again.

This is my pizza alla vegetariana. It is completely covered with rucola, but under it, there were sliced aubergine and sweet pepper. I don't like pizza so much, but I love the baked vegetable.
The italian pizzas (pizze) can roughly divided into two types: thin crispy base pizza and thick doughy base pizza (which is called "Neapolitan style"). These ones belong to the first type.

This is lemon sorbet that I ate after pizza.
It was refleshing, but it was probably a bought-in, and not particularly memorable.
A pizza, a dessert and water cost about €10. As many of the restaurants in Pisa have increased the price considerably, it's acceptable quite price.
