Levidi is a village situated on the road from Morea Highway toward
Dimitsana. The prime minister in 1924 and in 1932, Alexandros Papanastasiou (1879-1936) was from this village.

It is 850 from the sea level.
Statue of Anagnostis Striftobolas, hero of the Greek war of independence.

Bakery.

Bread is baked in traditional wood oven.

There is an attractive square at the centre of the village.
There are several cafeterias and restaurants.

The main menu of the restaurants of course is meat.
This restaurant was selling a grilled whole pork.

Colourful iconostasis (I think).

Evidently there is a decent number of tourists and some shops sells local products to them.

Local beans, pasta, and herbs.
