Arachova is picturesque village at the foot of Parnassos. It attracts many tourists for various reasons. It is close to skiing ground, makes a good base for mountaineering, and offers picturesque panorama. Besides, it is situated on the way to Delphi from Athens and many tourist coaches stop here.

There are many shops cater for tourists selling cheeses (Formaella is probably the most famous), wine, rugs, etc.
