<Location> Elefsina (Eleusis site), Suburb of Athens, Greece

This cuirassed bust of an emperor was installed at the centre of the pediment of the Great Propylaia. It might be difficult to recognised from the photo, but it is actually huge, about 2 metres high.
Although the face is badly damaged, it is thought to be a potrait of the emperor Marcus Aurelius who built or completed the Great Propylaia.
