Mandraki Beach is a very small beach, about 15 min walk from Hydra town.
As it is so small, the quey for taxi boats and private boats is virtually in the swimming area, which is a bit concerning.

It is a pebble beach, but the pebbles are small and smooth so that you don't suffer walking with naked foot.

I hate Greek habit of throwing cigaret buts on the beach.

The taverna above the beach runs the beach establishment. One beach bed / day costs 3 Euros.
The same taverna provides also coffees and soft drinks. A take-out frappe cost 3 Euros which looked over the top by Hydra beach standard.
(The above prices are correct in Summer 2010).
