In the summer of 2004, we stayed in Vlachata for about a week.

Vlachata was more like a village than a town, but there was quite a lot of foreign tourists, because there some middle-scale residence and hotels for them.
In the photo left are the sheeps in a farm of Vlachata

This is the church of Vlachata, agia (=saint) Marina. Notice the rather unusual bell tower; we say this type of bell tower not only in Kefalonia but also in Prevesa.

Motorbike that I saw in Vlachata. The number plate was written by hand.

Vlachata is situated in a relatively high place. From the town centre you nood to walk 15-20 minuites to arrive at one of the beaches around. Here are the pictures of Lourdata Beach. There was no one, because we went there at the time of the dusk.
