Corinth Canal
The Canal of Corinth traverses the Isthmus of Corinth connecting the Corinthian Bay and the Saronikos Bay. It is more than 6 km long and the depth from the land surface to the water surface is 52 metres max.

The present canal was completed at the end of the 19th century, but some attempts were made also in Antiquity. The most famous one probably is the Emperor Nero's project which was abandonned after his assacination.

There is a bungy jumping facility at the canal. The agency is called Zulu Bungy. At the moment of writing, the website is off; so please google the name and find the contact. I read on Athenorama that it costs €60 (in Summer 2009). It is closed on Mondays.
