Toló or Tolón is a beach resort about 10 km south east of
Nafplio. The photo above is the beach of Toló
And the photo right is the view of Toló seen from Asini archaeological site of Kastraki.
Comparing to Nafplio, the hotels in Toló are generally less expensive and closer to the beach. For those who have car, Toló might be a good alternative. There is bus communication with
Nafplio.
We based in Toló for Argolis tour in summer 2008. We stayed in the hotel Kyani Akti, at the north end of Toló beach.
It is situated just in front of the beach, 1 min walk literary. The photo right was taken from the balcony of our room.

This is the view of the busy touristy centre of Toló, a few hundred metres of road full of souvenir shops, restaurants, cafeterias.
This is Lefka Restaurant in Toló.
It is just in front of the beach and has also tables on a jetty. At the tables on the jetty, you feel as if you were dining on the sea, although it is rather dim. There are also indoor tables for cooler season.
The price was very reasonable and we paid only €23 for fried squid, oven baked feta and chili (in the photo), boiled green and chips (in summer 2008). Recommended.
