Anávatos 2

There are some 400 houses in Anávatos. Many of them are two-story buildings and rectangular in shape. As you see in the photo left, tha entrance is narrow and windows are small and few. The buildings were built closely attached to each other.

Here are some houses of Anávatos.

This is the photo of only one taverna cum caffe at the entrance of the village. When we visited, it was run by only one old chap. While we were having our frappe (cold nescafe drink), he brought us a book on Anávatos saying "Read this!".
