Fountain of Marek Pascha

This marble building was built by Marek Pascha in 1768.
Considering the position of water taps are very low, it must have been used by the people who came to collect water, or by the muslims who had to wash their feet before the prayer.
The style reflects the Constantinopolitan Baroque (1730-1808).

It seems some part of the relief used to be coloured.
